Samuel van der Feltz, Chairman of the Board

Samuel van der Feltz is the Executive Chairman of the International Bureau of Fiscal Documentation (IBFD) in Amsterdam since May 2009. He has over 30 years experience of international marketing and general management roles, most of which at Unilever. In 2001 he joined the Executive Committee of Taylor Nelson Sofres PLC (aka TNS), a world leader in market and media information. Since 2006 Sam has concentrated his business activities into an operational and participating role for Private Equity companies, culminating with an executive role as President Global Marketing for EMI Music in London.

Sam holds a Masters degree in Law from the University of Utrecht and is an AMP alumnus from the Harvard Business School. Besides a long career in Europe, Sam has also worked in Africa and the Middle East. He is married with 3 grown up children and enjoys sailing, classic cars and the occasional round of golf.

Bo Mattsson, board member

Bo is the founder of Cint, and took over as CEO in 2003 to revamp the firm into a marketplace based offering for respondent access. In 1998 he decided to apply the learnings and benefits of trading online to the online market research industry, with the set up of Cint. He spent the years between 1985-1997 in the financial industry, and in 1993 was named Head of Swedbank Securities. During this time he was the founder of NetTrade (at the start of 1996), the first online stock-trading offering in Europe. In 1998 he co-founded Eurotrade.lu, later sold to Nordnet AB, and in 2000 he co-founded Mangold, later sold to the Management. Bo also sits on the Board of Nordnet, one of Northern Europe´s largest internet brokerages, and Room328, a web-based 3D utility for matching demand and supply within the home furnishing market. He holds an MBA from the Stockholm School of Economics.

Fredrik Cassel, board member

Fredrik is a Partner at Creandum, an investment company specializing in investments in Nordic Technology companies. He has a background with Schibsted, Scandinavia Online and Eniro, which has brought him significant experience of developing media and Internet businesses across Europe. Fredrik is also on the board of Pintavision, Spotify and Videoplaza. Heis a Kauffman Fellow and holds a MSc in Engineering Physics. He studied at KTH in Stockholm and the EPFL in Lausanne.

Petter Nylander, board member

Petter is the current CEO of Universum, a global leader in employer branding. He holds a B. Sc (Econ) from Stockholm University and has previously held CEO positions at Unibet, Omnicom Media Group, TV3 Sweden and Viasat Broadcasting. At Universum, Petter returns to a familiar environment, bringing his professional career to a full circle. He began his career at Universum, as a summer intern, and now carries with him invaluable experience from the online industry.

Alexander Ribbink, board member

Alexander Ribbink is a Partner of Prime Technology Ventures. Alexander has over 20 years experience in international marketing, sales and general management. Before joining Prime in 2010, Alexander was board member and Chief Operating Officer of TomTom, the personal navigation company. Alexander played a major role in the international growth and marketing success of this global technology company. When he joined TomTom in 2003 the company’s turnover was in the tens of millions of Euros, when he left in 2008 the company’s turnover was approaching EUR 1.8 billion. Alexander was part of the leadership team that IPO-ed the company on the Amsterdam Stock Exchange in 2005.

Alexander serves on the board of directors of Cint as well as Greetz and Layar. He also serves as the chairman of the board of the Stedelijk Museum of Amsterdam, as a trustee of the Turing and Ribbink-van den Hoek foundations, as a trustee of Het Amsterdams Lyceum, and as a non-executive director of Koninklijke Tichelaar, Makkum.
