Cint is strongly committed to quality. All of our products comply with ESOMAR, MRS, CASRO, MRA, ARF, MRIA, AMA and AMSRO standards. Recently, Cint was awarded with the prestigious ISO 20252 certification.
Cint’s products have also been developed with technological functions specifically designed to enhance quality. Cint believes one of the most important ways to ensure this is for all our products to be fully transparent.
Panels hosted in OpinionHUB operate within an open framework. Users of the SaaS solution have direct access to information such as: who owns the panel, how many panelists are active, the demographic distribution of the panel and much more.
All surveys that are sent out to the OpinionHUB network are checked to ensure:
- correct implementation of re-directs
- appropriate logic in the survey
- appropriate translation of language
- correct set up of quotas
- whether or not there is any personal, sensitive or illegal questions being asked
- whether or not panelists can choose a ‘prefer not to answer’ option with any income or ethnicity questions
- overall general quality before proceeding with fieldwork.
If any of these points are not to compliance with Cint’s quality standards, the survey is not launched. For more information on Cint’s quality processes, please read our answers to the ESOMAR 28 Questions
Quality Features
Panelist rating by activity
All panelists are scored by their level of survey activity. If a score drops to a certain agreed level, panel owners can use this scoring system to automatically clean their panels.
Automatic cleaning
Panelists are automatically removed from panels in OpinionHUB when their email address is proven invalid.
Random & Stratified Sampling
Within the required targets, sample is randomly generated as well as being stratified by high, medium and low responders.
How Frequently Panelists are Invited to Surveys
All panels in OpinionHUB are given the option of deciding how often they want their panelists to receive survey invitations. The default number of days set is 10, however, panel owners or panelists can change this to be lower or higher.
Exclusions
When sending sample to studies, panelists can be excluded on both a project and a category level; therefore, if a client wishes to exclude panelists from previous waves of a study, or on a particularly category this is easily done.
Re-invitations
Cint believes strongly in providing a positive panelist experience. Because of this, panelists will only ever be ‘re-invited’ to a survey if they are guaranteed to qualify.
De-duping
Cint de-duping technology is automatically built into OpinionHUB and seamlessly removes duplicates across panels at the invite stage.
Professional panelist refusals
Unique identification data is required in the validation process as well as to redeem incentives such as: ID number, home address and bank details.
Panel Blending
Sample can be drawn from multiple panels simultaneously to reach hard-to-find target groups and eliminate source bias. This allows users to benefit from selecting sample generated by different recruitment methods, from CATI recruited panels to panels built from natural online communities, where members have a relationship with the panel owner’s brand.
Panelist survey rating
Panelists have the ability to rate each survey on length, language and logic as well as other errors in surveys. This feedback can help buyers to improve the quality of their surveys.
All surveys run by our project managers require a soft launch to obtain 10% of the overall sample size. This serves as an extra check to ensure any errors are detected before fully launching.
Maximum limit on survey length
Cint believes that the length of survey has a reciprocal relationship with the quality of data. Therefore, a longer survey may illicit lower quality results. Having stated this, Cint does not allow surveys over 27 minutes in OpinionHUB without the written approval from independent panel owners.
