Global panel marketplace platform provider, Cint has become a preferred strategic supplier for market research giant GfK in a multi-year agreement. GfK account and operations teams, and its customers around the world, will now benefit from access to millions of engaged and deeply profiled panelists within Cint’s unrivalled OpinionHUB marketplace, as well as support on API integration and supply chain management workflow.

The move comes after a central supply chain and procurement process review by GfK, led out of its HQ in Nuremberg, Germany, in which Cint beat off competition from a number of other global suppliers, based on the high scoring of factors including service, quality, technology, reach, innovation and flexibility.

Global Head of Operations at GfK explained: “As part of our drive to further optimize our worldwide market research infrastructure to the benefit of our clients, we decided to hold a review to establish the benefits of working with a preferred strategic supplier.”

Part of the agreement will see Cint’s solutions integrated via APIs into GfK’s online consumer panel and sample management system. Cint’s Central Europe Managing Director Norman Behrend said: “We’re thrilled to have gained this status with GfK, Germany’s largest market research institute and a major worldwide force in market research. We are looking forward to working closely with GfK to evolve the benefits for both parties.
