Cint launches Supply Acquisition team to continue rapid growth in building audiences for insight. Also announces senior promotions in UK office

1st September, 2015: Global panel marketplace platform provider Cint has set up a dedicated supply acquisition team focused on bringing in new partner sources and growing existing partnerships already working with its platform. The specialist team will be responsible for driving partner sales and relationships to continue to diversify and broaden Cint’s offering to buyers in the marketplace, which today spans more than 60 markets and over 17 million profiled and engaged respondents.

The newly created team will be led by Stephen Hughes, who moves from the role of UK MD to take up the new role of Global Director, Supply Acquisition with immediate effect, and also includes Katie Gazzuolo (Regional Head Supply Acquisition, North America), with other members joining the team imminently.

As a result, in the UK, Jane Attale is promoted from her role as Sales Director to Managing Director, whilst Joanne Elliott moves into the Sales Director role.

The promotions follow significant growth in Cint’s business on the demand side of its platform and is aligned to better service and create more value for buyers and suppliers ahead of an expected strong back half of 2015. Key target sectors will include publishers, brands, loyalty & reward program companies, MR agencies, and other platforms and software firms.

Commenting on the announcement, Richard Thornton, Global Commercial Director said: “We feel the timing is right as the market is ripe for continued disruption and innovation within the supply chain of market research. This new team will allow us to increase both the volume of partnerships we strike and also the quality of those relationships. And under Stephen we have a very experienced operator at the helm to drive this initiative and equally, continuity in the UK under Jane and Joanne to take that office forward.”

Cint cites the ongoing development of its global customer base and the ever-changing needs of its platform buyers, including the rapid uptake of self-service and API procurement, as a significant indicator of demand for more sample supply.

Stephen Hughes added: “As a true global platform for importing, building and monetising research panel assets, we have been successful in growing the number of respondents on the Cint platform in a fast, organic manner. It is now time to ramp up that acquisition and continue to offer users extensive high-quality sample sources that combine with the technology to access this efficiently; namely Cint’s sampling tools.”
