Japan – 11 August, 2015–INTAGE (Thailand) Co., Ltd and INTAGE VIETNAM LIMITED LIABILITY COMPANY, one of the INTAGE Group, have signed a deal to add its Thai and Vietnamese panels for Cint’s global panel marketplace platform, and will use Cint’s sophisticated panel management technology and supply chain management solution Access Pro to operate from one unified platform.

Palasai Sookthis, Director and Member of the Board from INTAGE Thailand commented: “We have a strong presence across Asia in countries including Japan, Thailand, Singapore, Vietnam, Indonesia, India, China and Hong Kong. INTAGE are keen to build on this by expanding our online panels in local markets for the benefit of the MR industry as a whole, extending and enabling reach of previously difficult to reach audiences online.

“Having looked at many platform providers, INTAGE chose Cint as the perfect partner to help us in this mission, using its technology-led solutions to further build our panels in Cint’s unrivalled global panel marketplace,” he added.

Soji Nagano, sales director for Cint Japan, said: “We are thrilled to have been chosen by such a prestigious firm as INTAGE as a partner in building its panel assets across Asia, using our platform. Access to good quality panels in the South East Asia region has been an ongoing challenge, alongside an increasing demand of online panel research from not only domestic MRs but also outside the region.

“Given the strong network across the region, INTAGE group is perfectly placed to create a very unique Asian panel network to meet the needs of its offices, partners and clients.”

As the first project executed through the partnership, INTAGE Thailand, in collaboration with Cint, has conducted a nine-country study among 2,700 people, using OpinionHUB. In addition to the online quantitative study, INTAGE Thailand also conducted a qualitative study using MyReco Solutions – INTAGE’s unique digital tool that captures ‘real-time’ micro moments from 90 people over 50 years old in 3 countries: Japan, Thailand and Vietnam. The study was conducted to equip marketers with a true understanding of the high-opportunity segment that is the over 50s market – one of the fastest-growing demographics among social networks.

Soji added: “The world is aging rapidly and the number of people aged 60 and older outnumbers the birth rate worldwide. This is particularly pertinent in Asia where the speed at which the population in aging continues to be relatively high compared to other parts of the world. Marketers should see this as a real opportunity, which was the goal behind the study – to help them better understand how to tap into this market.”

The findings, titled ‘The Rise of the Silver Gen’ will be unveiled at the Intage Thailand Annual Forum on 27th August, 2015 at The Grand Ballroom, The Westin Grande Sukhumvit Bangkok Hotel. Cint’s Senior Vice President of Products Stefan Hok will join the panel discussion titled ‘The Worldwide View on the Rise of Silver Wave’.
