McCarron Steps Down as Managing Director
Cint, a global producer of market research technology and creator of OpinionHUB, today announces that it has engaged Peter Milla, an online research expert and thought leader as an advisor to the US business unit. With his extensive experience as Chief Information Officer (CIO) for companies such as Survey Sampling International, Harris Interactive and Roper Starch, Peter brings exceptional understanding of the issues relating to the sector. Mr. Milla will continue to operate his own consultancy and will continue as an Associate at Cambiar.
Peter currently holds leadership roles in several industry workgroups and committees in the areas of technology, government affairs, ISO (quality standards) and Internet research. He also serves as a Fellow of the Ponemon Institute, a research organization dedicated to advancing responsible information and privacy management practices in business and government.
Milla comments, “I look forward to working with the team at Cint who are leaders in the current transition of the research industry.”
Cint also announces the departure of US Managing Director, Terence McCarron. He will be leaving the organization to a pursue a new venture which will enable him to continue a relationship with Cint.
McCarron states, “I believe in the Cint mission which is why, even though I am leaving my current role, I am happy to announce that my new venture will allow me to continue a relationship with the company. In my last three years at Cint, I’ve pushed the sales team, and the rest of the organization, to achieve more in terms of what we are able to deliver. In North America alone, we’ve experienced great successes, including 35% of all revenues now coming from sales of the platform and the self-service sampling solution, Cint Access. I have no doubt this outstanding pattern of growth will continue.”
To oversee the transition in North America, Cint USA has promoted Jake Wolff to VP of North American Sales. Wolff, who was recently promoted to VP, East Sales will bring his success to the rest of the North American team. Wolff comments, “I look forward to building on the extraordinary groundwork Terence has laid. Things are looking strong in North America and we are looking forward to adding more members to the Sales team over the coming months. I am excited about the opportunity to bring Cint to the next level.”
