As Cint gears up for rapid market growth in 2015, particularly in the US, it has today announced the appointment of new CEO Morten Strand, who has already facilitated the doubling of the top and bottom line of another SaaS company and will now steer the leading provider of global market research solutions into the next phase of evolution and growth.
With vast experience in the development of market leadership and a passion for innovation and partnering, Morten is well-placed to capitalise on the major strides Cint has made in recent years in the industry and lead the firm into rapid growth in 2015.
As former chief operating officer at Visma Software, Morten has a strong understanding of transitioning business processes to achieve optimisation and efficiency – which is synergistic with Cint’s ethos, being a protagonist in supply chain efficiency resulting in bigger profit margins for partners.
Morten, who will be based at the company’s headquarters in Stockholm, said: “Cint’s offering has gone from strength to strength as the company, under Bo Mattsson’s leadership, has flourished and always been one step ahead of the industry. Innovation has been a key theme and over the last year or so, creating partnerships has been a real focus for Cint. As the internet becomes an intrinsic part of everyday life and digital and social media play a huge role, market research becomes ever more crucial to avoid losing touch with the target audience. Collaboration will be the key to industry growth and development and it is my aim to make Cint the preferred partner for all players in the market research industry.”
Morten replaces Bo as CEO, whilst Bo will remain on the board and continue to be a strong influence in the company.
Bo said: “Ten years after its inception, Cint is in the strongest position it has ever been in. In addition to great employees and investors, this is down to the fact we have continually been one step ahead of the ever-changing data collection business to ensure we are providing the right solutions at the right time. Growing numbers of buyers and suppliers are hooking up to the platform; we’ve made some great partnerships with major industry players such as GfK and Survey Monkey – and Cint is creating value every day for both clients and partners alike, enabling them to trade with one another in a borderless and frictionless solution with an unmatched liquidity globally.”
Cint’s chairman Sam van der Feltz added: “I am confident in Morten’s capabilities to take Cint to the next phase of evolution; his track record is proven but more importantly, his passion and drive for everything Cint stands for is what I believe will enable him to really propel the business forward.”
