MANAGEMENT

Morten Strand - Cint

Morten Strand
CEO

Morten joined the Cint team in January 2015, coming from a role as COO for Visma Software, the largest commercial software vendor in the Nordics. Before his tenure at Visma, Morten served in various Management roles at IBM, both locally, regionally and across the world. Operational excellence and Cint’s customer successes are Morten passions.
Graduating from the University of San Francisco in 1990, Morten got his degree in Business Administration in one of the most important technology hubs in the world. It was here that the passion for technology was born while he served as a research assistant on “Commercial implications of Digital Television” technology back in 1988.

As a Norwegian, located in Stockholm, there is only one tradition that remains with him; Morten’s passion to spend his free time at his cabin, where he enjoys many outdoor activities.

Richard Thornton - Cint

Richard Thornton
Deputy CEO

Richard joined Cint in 2009 to set up its UK operations in London. After graduating in HR and International Marketing, Richard then began his career at CAP Ventures (now InfoTrends Inc.) working as a strategic IT consultant. In 2003 he joined Ciao Surveys, one of the pioneering European firms in the online access panel industry, setting up the UK office to later culminate in his role as European Managing Director. Richard was part of the management team that lead the Ciao business to a successful sale to Microsoft Inc. in late 2008.

Richard often represents Cint at different worldwide events and conferences including having presented papers at the Esomar Congress and at MRS events. Richard has also been a trainer for MRS workshops.

Outside of Cint, Richard lives in London with his wife Katie and his two young boys Stanley and Barney. A keen traveller, Richard’s real passion is sports, both watching and participating, although the latter is becoming less gracious as the years roll on. Richard still finds the time for 5-a-side football, enjoying the post-match beers more than the workout these days, and has a mainly unrewarding time of following his beloved West Ham United around the country.

Dag Magni Cint

Dag Magni
CFO

Dag joined Cint as CFO in March 2016. Dag has a long track record in the financial realm coming from a CFO role at CameronTec Group, a financial messaging infrastructure provider, and before that as Head of Finance for Orc Group. Both companies were recently merged under the new brand Itiviti.

Dag’s broad experience within the finance and accounting sector spans more than 20 years, working in various controller, finance and CFO positions including four years with one of the “big four” audit firms. He now coordinates Cint’s teams of developers located on two continents. Marcus also holds Bachelor of Computer Science (Real-time systems) from The Royal Institute of Technology in Stockholm.

He has exceptional sports knowledge but despite the fact that he was born in Sweden, he does not enjoy winter sports, preferring soccer and motorsports as well as playing squash and golf. Marcus is a loyal (Stockholm) AIK supporter.

Stefan Hök - Cint

Stefan Hök
Senior Vice President of Products

Stefan joined Cint in early 2011 to head up Cint Link and is now responsible for Cint’s products. After graduating from the Royal Institute of Technology in Stockholm he co-founded CoTraveller, specializing in travel applications for the mobile devices (yes, apps were around before the iPhone was born, but a lot less colorful). A year later CoTraveller was sold to mBlox, the soon-to-become world largest mobile transaction network, where Stefan developed the Premium SMS product line which quickly became a multi-million dollar business area. After spending almost a decade in the mobile industry focusing on commercializing advanced technology he learnt quite a bit around Internet marketing while heading up the Swedish operations at Getupdated.

When not persuading people why APIs and Do-It-Yourself can benefit almost every company, Stefan is keen to challenge anyone at any sport. As long as he can choose the sport.
