Tom has over 15 years of experience with technology-enabled marketing service businesses, with a particular focus on general management, sales and marketing. Until recently, Tom served as Executive Chairman of Lumata Group, a global digital customer engagement, analytics and loyalty company. Previously, he spent a number of years as CEO and in senior management at EYC, a loyalty CRM and analytics provider, and at Catalina Marketing, a provider of targeted point-of-sale couponing. Tom was also a Venture Partner at DN Capital, where he managed and evaluated existing and new investments in the e-commerce, data and retail technology sectors. Early in his career, Tom had a number of sales and marketing roles at Procter & Gamble and Lindt & Sprüngli. He holds an MA from Cambridge University.
Chief Commercial Officer
Richard serves as Chief Commercial Officer for Cint, with a focus on expanding the company's customer and supplier base. He leads Cint's demand-side, sales and customer success teams (across EMEA, Americas and APAC), alongside its global supply team and the marketing team.
Prior to this role, he served as Chief Operations Officer, initially joining the company in 2009 to set up its operations in London. Before joining Cint, Richard was part of the executive team at Ciao Surveys, a pioneering firm in the online access panel industry, and eventually led the company to a successful sale to Microsoft Inc. He began his career at CAP Ventures (now InfoTrends Inc.) working as a strategic IT consultant, after earning his degree in human resources and international marketing. Richard represents Cint at global conferences, including having presented papers at the ESOMAR Congress and at MRS events. Thornton has also served as a trainer for MRS workshops. He lives in London with his wife and two sons.
He is a keen traveller with a passion for sports (both watching and participating) and he has a mainly unrewarding time of following his beloved West Ham United around the country.
Chief Operations Officer
JD serves as COO for Cint, where he leads the global operations, product and member support teams. He brings more than 20 years of experience in the market research industry to his role. Most recently he served as P2Sample's Chief Revenue Officer, where he led the company through two years of extraordinary growth and eventual acquisition by Cint. He began his career client-side researcher in financial services, then went on to hold senior global positions at The NPD Group and Ipsos. Deitch has also held executive positions at AYTM and Bakamo.Social. He has a Ph.D. in Political Science with Distinction from The American University and a BA from the University of Pennsylvania. He serves on the Women in Research (WIRe) Advisory Board and recently received WIRe's MRX Diversity Champion Award. Deitch is a frequent speaker and industry thought leader as it evolves to tackle the challenges of the digital age. He lives in France with his wife and two sons and maintains a cheese blog at mfromage.fr
Chief Human Resources Officer
Johanna joined Cint as Chief HR Officer in February 2017. She has a background from the Financial- and FinTech industry and most recently she worked as Senior HR Director at Nasdaq. Prior to Nasdaq she lived in London for five years, working for SunGard and UniCredit in different HR roles. She really enjoys working in Global organizations so this played a deciding factor when considering Cint as her next big career move. Johanna holds a Human Resources Management degree from Lund University. When not working Johanna loves travelling, spending time with friends and family and cooking. She has always been into sports and has competed internationally as part of the Swedish dressage team as a junior and young rider.
Helene Stafferöd Westerlund
Chief Technology Officer
Helene is a passionate leader who loves building successful companies, inspiring people and creating ground-breaking technology products that push the boundaries in their market. In her role as Chief Technology Officer, she oversees Cint’s global engineering teams. As part of the executive team, she helps to set strategies and create the infrastructure needed for our continued growth and innovation. Most recently, Helene served as Chief Technology Officer positions at Instantor AB, a Swedish Fintech start-up, as well as SpecOps Software, a password security solutions company. Prior to this, she held a variety of management, development and sales positions in the fintech and online gaming industries. She holds a Bachelor of Science in business economics and computer science from Stockholm University.
Chief Innovation Officer
Oscar joined Cint in 2000 from Ericsson to take responsibility of Cint’s technology and development and later went on to be one founders of Cint’s unique platform, products and technology. During his serving with Cint he has been responsible for product, technology, operations and business development as well as setting up Cint’s US operation in 2008 before 2017 taking the role as Chief Innovation Officer. Oscar acts as a thought leader in the industry in Market Research Technology and Mar-tech presenting and participating in various organization including ESOMAR, Insights Association, FIPP, Research & Result and SampleCon. Based out of San Francisco splitting his time with HQ in Sweden. In Silicon Valley, Oscar continues to bring innovation to Cint and its clients by finding new partnerships and launching new product concepts to ensure Cint’s continued leadership in the Mar-tech space and ensure Cint’s partners have a future proof solution and stay on top of the latest trends.
Chief Product Officer
Stefan joined Cint in early 2011 to head up Cint Link and is now responsible for Cint’s products. After graduating from the Royal Institute of Technology in Stockholm he co-founded CoTraveller, specializing in travel applications for the mobile devices (yes, apps were around before the iPhone was born, but a lot less colorful). A year later CoTraveller was sold to mBlox, the soon-to-become world largest mobile transaction network, where Stefan developed the Premium SMS product line which quickly became a multi-million dollar business area. After spending almost a decade in the mobile industry focusing on commercializing advanced technology he learnt quite a bit around Internet marketing while heading up the Swedish operations at Getupdated. When not persuading people why APIs and Do-It-Yourself can benefit almost every company, Stefan is keen to challenge anyone at any sport. As long as he can choose the sport!
Executive Vice President, The Americas
Jake joined in February 2012 as a Sales Director tasked with ramping up Access sales in the Northeast America territory. In January of 2013 he became VP of North American sales, and was promoted again in January of 2014 to MD of North America. Before joining Cint, Jake was responsible for sales in the healthcare field for a SaaS-based background checking and license verification firm. He holds a communications degree from Villanova University where he was a 4 year scholarship baseball player. When not working for Cint Jake enjoys spending time with his family, and is an avid sports fan.
Executive Vice President, EMEA
Indie joined Cint in January 2019, with extensive experience in commercial leadership and strategic roles, primarily within consultancy and data & insights. She has acted as a change-agent within the information services industry for nearly two decades. Having had a number of senior commercial positions during her career to date at the likes of Frost & Sullivan, where Indie spent 12 years culminating in managing and growing the EMEA region and working within the C’Suite of tier 1 accounts (both industry verticals and financial services), Ascential Plc (Planet Retail) and Dun & Bradstreet. She is a passionate advocate for diversity in the workplace and has chaired many leadership and women in workplace initiatives. Having worked alongside global brands, Indie understands the ever-growing importance of “the Voice of the Customer”, and it’s strategic imperative to the C-suite. She is excited to be part of an industry that is transforming and innovating to address “The Age Of The Customer”.
Executive Vice President, APAC
Karine is a customer-centric insight and technology adoption seasoned practitioner and joined Cint in September 2018 with a proven track record delivering change management practices and technology-enabled data & loyalty value proposition for top tier FMCG and world retailers across Europe and Asia. Karine brings to Cint 20 years of industry experience having held numerous sales management & leadership positions in the APAC markets. Most recently, serving as Vice President – Business Development Retail Data Solutions in Asia Pacific for Symphony RetailAI, a Customer Insight and loyalty SaaS technology enabler, and previously VP Strategic Business Development Japan at Catalina Marketing, a global Shopper Insight and CRM solutions provider. Karine has been living in Asia for more than 10 years in Shanghai, Tokyo and Hong Kong. Outside work, she loves traveling with her family and daughter, enjoying the diversity of culture and thinking.
Executive Vice President, Enterprise Solutions
Greg has over 20 years experience in media and technology spanning both successful start-up businesses and one of the world’s most recognised media companies. Prior to joining Cint in 2016 Greg spent 7 years on the Advertising Board of Time Inc, and was most recently EVP Global Sales for CloudSense, an Enterprise SaaS vendor and Salesforce.com consulting partner. Outside work Greg enjoys spending time with his family and coaching his local junior cricket team.
