Stockholm, Sweden, 21st May, 2024 : Cint, a digital insights gathering platform, has been recognized for its contributions in eliminating survey fraud at the prestigious I-COM Data Creativity Awards.  

The competition rewards achievement, innovation and contribution to SmartData Marketing. 

In June 2023, Cint and Forsta, a global provider of market research technology, partnered to develop Cint SecureServe – a secure end-to-end API. The solution was created out of the growing need to tackle ghost completes (or link manipulations) that arise when respondents qualify for incentives, having apparently completed a survey, but no data is collected. This fraudulent activity is a rapidly growing problem for the market research industry. 

Cint SecureServer results showed a 0% reversal rate for ghost completes and 3.19% overall reversal rate (compared to 21% industry average) for over 60,000 survey completes for the period between October 2023 and January 2024.
