We’re proud to challenge stereotypes and sit ahead of the curve with a high percentage of women executives in leadership positions. We know that diverse leadership —including women in particular—can bring manifold tangible benefits to business. Not only that, it is the right thing to do. As our COO JD Deitch put forth in his recent paper, “Women Executives in Market Research,” we still have a long way to go as an industry. However, he touts the benefits of “greater awareness of women’s issues and corporate commitments to diversity,” which ultimately, should be greater representation of women in senior leadership roles. We are pleased to be making progress on this front at Cint.
In fact, we just announced the latest addition to our executive team this week. Helene Stafferöd Westerlund has joined us as Chief Technology Officer, a role in which she will oversee our global engineering teams. She will be instrumental in completing the platform integration initiative that resulted from Cint coming together with sample technology company, P2Sample, last year. As part of the executive team, she will help to set strategies and create the infrastructure needed for our continued growth and innovation. You can read more about her here.
