We’re coming up fast on our second Quirk’s Event of the year, this time in Brooklyn. We had a great time in London and are expecting to connect with even more people in the industry next week. Our crew will be “cold kickin’” it in booth 710 on the exhibit floor. Once again, the show is sold out! This comes as no surprise. The two-day event series (London, Brooklyn and Chicago) provides some of the industry’s best cutting-edge marketing research and consumer insights learning. We love it because it helps us keep our finger on the latest trends, techniques and topics that matter the most in our space.
So far this year, we’ve seen several key themes emerging both in conversation and at the various events we’ve attended. We expect to see the commentary surrounding these themes continue at Quirk’s Brooklyn as speakers take the stage to talk about the importance of user experience (Fuel Cycle will be talking about how to supercharge with real-time video); rising interest in DIY solutions (SurveyMonkey will talk about scalable programs); automation, programmatic solutions and agile technologies (many presentations on how to implement at stages of the research process, including reporting); and how we can reach those elusive Gen Zers. We’re excited to see what the speakers, both from global brands and innovative agencies, have to say at this leading event.
Off the stage, Quirk’s is known for its great networking opportunities. We’re proud to be sponsoring the MR Musical Jam Session on March 3. While it is no secret that we market researchers have many talents, some of us are good enough to get on stage – not to present – but to play music! That’s right, this event features market research musicians. We can’t wait to hear what they will be playing. We’ll put in a request right now for the Beastie Boys (we will be in Brooklyn after all).
