A repeating pattern of 3D padlocks on a textured purple background, alternating between open grey locks and closed bright purple locks with light blue shackles, representing Cint's SOC 2 Type 1 compliance achievement and enhanced data security standards.

A research marketplace you can trust

At Cint, trust, data integrity, and operational resilience are at the heart of our research technology platform. As the market research industry scales and increasingly relies on programmatic data collection (thanks to platforms like our very own Cint Exchange), maintaining the highest standard of trust and transparency is of critical importance.

As bad actors continue to employ increasingly sophisticated script fraud technologies and AI-driven automation to emulate real human behavior, putting survey workflows and insights at risk, we’ve never been more committed to ensuring that our customer’s data is of the highest possible quality.

As such, we’re delighted to announce that we have officially completed Sensiba’s SOC 2 Type I audit with zero exceptions noted.

This milestone reinforces our purpose to feed the world’s curiosity by serving as the  trusted foundation for continuous research and measurement, ensuring researchers and marketers can confidently source insights from real people without having to worry about the quality of their data.

“Achieving SOC 2 Type 1 compliance with zero exemptions is a huge milestone for our entire team and Cint as a whole. It offers our partners and customers a clear, independent proof that we hold ourselves to the highest standard of data protection,” says Paul Urey, Cyber Security and GRC Manager at Cint. “Trust is built on verified security, and this audit reinforces our commitment to safeguarding our customer’s data as we continue to scale our platform”.

How enterprise security controls directly protect data quality

As the ResTech industry scales and relies increasingly on programmatic data collection, maintaining the highest standard of trust and transparency around data quality is paramount.

Building on our Cyber Essentials certification which we achieved earlier in 2026, this independent validation gives our enterprise market research partners complete confidence that their survey data and operations are protected by the highest of security standards.

By securing our end-to-end sample workflow, Cint protects the integrity of every exchange between research buyers, panel providers, and survey respondents. When infrastructure is fortified, bad actors are stopped before they ever reach a survey, directly protecting the purity of the data collected.

This milestone provides our global clients, enterprise brands, and research partners with independent validation that our platform infrastructure, data safeguards, and governance controls adhere to the highest international security standards.

“By embedding robust security controls directly into our survey infrastructure, we reduce the threat landscape, block unauthorised access, and intercept deceptive traffic,” says Urey. “This level of control gives customers complete confidence that every response collected is legitimate, uncompromised, and secure.”

What’s next for Cint’s approach to compliance?

We aren’t stopping at point-in-time compliance. As of September 1st, we have officially entered our SOC 2 Type II audit period (Sept 1 – Nov 30, 2026), proving the continuous operational effectiveness of our controls over time across recurring annual audit cycles.

A massive thank you to our Information Security, Infrastructure, IT and People teams for their hard work in keeping Cint at the forefront of secure, enterprise-grade research technology.
